MED CENTER AREA

Midtown, conveniently located minutes from Downtown, was originally populated as a Victorian-style community during the 19th century. After an economic depression forced the departure of many of its prolific residents and businesses, the city of Houston and the local community developed a renewed interest in Houston’s urban core. Through the development of the Midtown Redevelopment Authority and the Midtown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) in the 1990’s the area has seen rapid development since.

Now characterized by its urban landscape, the influx of young residents, walkability, and vibrant nightlife, Midtown offers diverse property types including affordable and luxury townhomes, condos, and lofts.
